Drive the famous dream road “Grande Corniche” along the French Riviera.
It runs in part at dizzying heights up to over 500 meters above sea level.
“To Catch a Thief” sends its regards…
Experience the southern French lifestyle while strolling through Nice, St. Tropez and Monaco.
Enjoy charm, elegance and art of living at Hotel Cantemerle in Vence.
The hotel is located in the middle of a private park of about 1 hectare with centuries-old pine trees on a wooded hill between the Mediterranean Sea and Les Baous de Vence. Far from the noise of the city, but still close to all amenities, you will find here a real, timeless oasis of well-being.
Our Côte d’Azur tours are planned as a 4-day event with the option of advance travel or extension. Feel free to contact us about it!
On the day of arrival we will be happy to pick you up from the airport in Nice with our shuttle or you can travel to the hotel with your own sports car.
We will get to know each other over dinner on the terrace in the private park of the Hotel Cantemerle. We will present you the tours and the program in the evening.
he Grande Corniche is the most famous panoramic road in the world! It was also a spectacular filming location for the James Bond movie "Golden Eye". The Ferrari / vintage car chase takes place between Menton and Monaco.
Our day trip leads us from Hotel Cantemerle via Nice, La Condamine, Mont Bastide, Monaco, Beausoleil, Cap Martin to Menton. On our route you will enjoy spectacular views to the sea and mountain side. Enjoy the Mediterranean and luxury lifestyle feeling of Monaco and the coastal roads of the Côte d'Azur while having lunch in selected restaurants and beach clubs.
For dinner, meet at the hotel or at one of the beach clubs in Cannes or St. Tropez.
Who does not know it, the famous movie "Perfume"? Our second day tour takes us from the hotel along narrow roads to Grasse. The town is considered the world capital of perfume due to its long-established perfume industry and gained international fame as the location of the novel "The Perfume" by Patrick Süskind. Even today, everything revolves around fragrances.
Our sports car tour takes us through the Parc naturel régional des Préalpes d'Azur up to the plateau of Valensole, the famous region for lavender cultivation, the raw material of many perfumes.
Lavender and cereals are grown on the plateau, which covers about 800 km2. Depending on the season, the plateau has a different surface texture: The snow-covered mountain peaks and the almond trees blooming in March give way in July to the changing mauve colors of the lavender and the golden hues of the grain.
Lavender blooms from mid-June - mid-August.
So book your date now for the 2022 lavender bloom!
We will visit one of the most beautiful villages in France "Moustiers-Sainte-Marie". There lunch at the restaurant La Bastide de Moustiers or restaurant La Treille Muscate.
In the afternoon we will drive back to the hotel Cantemerle on the dream roads. On the way we will make a coffee stop in Fayence.
In the evening we take the shuttle to one of the legendary beach clubs like Annex Beach Club, Baoli in Cannes or Club 55 in St. Tropez (depending on availability!).
